Cargo hood for Quatrevelo velomobile

The cargo hood allows you to take large volume luggage with your Quatrevelo velomobile. The box in the video is 48 x 42 x 28 cm.

The first hood is also called « alien hood » and I think it is the best name people came up with. Else, great job! A very good idea this cargo hood! Maybe offer windows in it too??

Windows are not possible. very different fit then the windows we have. We have no plans to make windows for it.

Dat is wel een tof idee. Goed bezig. Ik heb de head-in hood. Zou ik deze af en toe kunnen uitwisselen met deze nieuwe? Of is het vanwege het andere scharnier mechanisme niet echt mogelijk?

Je kan niet snel wisselen, we hebben juist de scharnierplaat binnen weggelaten voor meer ruimte, maar daardoor is uitwisselbaarheid met bestaande kappen niet snel mogelijk. Dan zou je beide scharniersystemen in 1 fiets moeten hebben...

Hi Theo, just wondering how can this hood be mounted on a 2023 Quatrevelo and still use the window hood if one so desires to have two hoods. Thanks …. one thought some might have a dog they like to take along this new is just right sides if it had a window option as well, might be something pet owners might order.

This cargo hood has a new hinge system and is not quickly exchangeable, like the other 2 hoods. It would take more time to exchange and the new hing system would have to be installed (laminated) in the existing quatrevelo. We do not have windows planned for this hood.

Hello Mike, This will not be made, Legislation is preventing this. There are a large number of regulations that this vehicle must comply with, this is very costly and forces a design that is very different from current velomobiles. And it is mostly not allowed on cycling paths anymore, forcing you to ride on roads where cars go 80 km/h or faster..
