Interesting design, this vessel must have great fuel mileage / Endurance an be fast on its service speed thanks to its unique top deck low air drag superstructure, I'm sure its design is to mitigate air drag around the top deck as much as possible an to reduce the vessels structural dry weight in effort to maximize low fuel burn economy.. Marine vessel designers are trending towards these radical design shifts in order to minimize structural weight an complexities an low drag superstructures to produce more economical low fuel burning eco - Friendly vessel's.. Which is a big win win all-round for the manufacturer's of the vessel's & owner - Operators of the vessel's, and in the long term a massive WIN for the worlds ENVIRONMENT'S. =) =D

I like it too , as a model builder . It's quite dramatic , rather aircraft carrier like from some angles !
