As long as they leave the tractor alone just let them steal the stuff. You don't know if they are armed and may not know how many there are. Safer to just let them do it.

In New York, truck high jacking was very organized, back in the 1950,s and 1960,s. Check out the movie Goodfellas, this being done by certain Italian groups that were very involved, in this.Alot of times the trucker was paid a certain amount, to not make a fuss about it.The groups were armed, but usually no violence was involved.The money lost, was usually on the insurance companies.

Time for smart trailers cameras in the back sensors to detect a door breach driver gets a cell phone alert acoustic horn ear drum busting blasts of sound devices set up in the back of the trailer trespassers get in there you can give them a warning from your phone from the front can they don’t get out of your trailer start cranking up the sound to 747 levels and better locks to keep them out in the first place that’s just one idea you also can put Apple air tags to track stolen stuff.

I think Red and Hurricane are spot on. It's almost like Defensive Driving. 1st rule. Protect you and your cab. The cargo is 2nd at best. Thats what insurance is for. Document. Video. Call 9 11. And if you can pre plan to eliminate threats and risk. Job One.
