You say there is no storage, but because there is no fancy storage box fitted this lends itself to having more room to place larger items between the seats, making it even more practical for other use.

Yeah that made me laugh, no storage, except for all this storage all around the front and above your head and a massive load of space you could put bags or anything else in 🤷?

I struggle to see the reason why the passenger version doesn't have the 2+1 front bench seating as an option

With a car at this size, why did they put a 50kwh battery in it? Hyundai have a 74kwh battery in a small SUV that can do around 300 miles on a charge.

The usual comprehensive review, not an EV for me to buy, with Rebecca's background would be interesting to see her comments on a Pembleton T24 instead....

One can only imagine how low the range would be if it's used like a proper van, by transporting stuff and people, and constant highway driving.

But you would not buy one of these for that purpose...duh
@thismanagain

@@alanwayte432 then what's the point of something like this if it can't even transport without heavily impacting the range?

Just purchased a 2 year old diesel version. Would have bought new but now only make EVs . Such a shame . These car companies are going to go bust if they keep making expensive rubbish like this.

Costs a lot of money, has horrific range, how does this make sense at all? Give it 5 years and you won't be able to crack 80 miles from a "full" charge during winter.. And then sell it for peanuts.
@jonathantaylor1998
@jonathantaylor1998 Жыл бұрын
I accept that it's a lot of money for a not-so-good range - that's just the poor aerodynamics of a brick-shaped van and the effect of those aerodynamics would be exactly the same if it was petrol / diesel, you just wouldn't notice the fuel gauge dropping quicker on the motorway. But, your aspersion that it's range will drop by 33% over 5 years...? Sadly, most non-EV owners take their information from the unapologetically anti-EV media, rather than actually listening to real-life owner experience. Yes, if this was based on the original underpinnings of the decade-old Nissan Leaf, with its lack of thermal battery management, even then you might be closer to only a drop of, perhaps, 15-20% over 5 years / 60,000 miles - but that's such old battery 'tech'. Most modern EVs - including these Stelantis models - feature high-tech battery heating & cooling systems, plus built-in protection buffers to prevent an owner from over charging or over depleting the battery pack - consequently, most EV batteries lose, maybe 1-2% of battery life per year max - so, instead of 120 miles in winter, you might end up with 110ish after 5 years... hardly reason to "sell it for peanuts"...

@@jonathantaylor1998 You're right, it's an excellent car! Literally nothing good about this package and time will show it. Lot's of money for something that's only useful for around town and can't do anything else.
