I never - NEVER - understand why people do this. It literally has built in overflow/weeping holes for this purpose. Why uncap it? I knew s guy who did this and it did burn him badly. It's just dumb. If for whatever goddamned stupid reason you need to do this (can't think of one) then at least use many rags and cover the coolant reservoir or radiator before attempting to open it. Otherwise, wait! Wait until it cools down.

@@Carhax Once it's already recorded, played back, and the shutter frame rate is taken out of the equation, it will appear like that when slowed down during playback but its not what's really happening. It looks exactly the same when recording and playing back an airplane propeller at varying RPMs, and the airplane engine is NOT suddenly changing directions. It's an illusion, I can guarantee you.

@@Carhax Yeah, but most modern engines can't run that way. It really only works with two-stroke engines. Four-stroke engines can't run in reverse at all. It's more than likely an optical illusion.

Also, if you’re doing something like this alone and you have a 4x4 truck put it in 4h, transmission in park (or in 1st and or reverse depending on if you’re on a slope or not), and parking brake on. That way both the front and rear axle are “locked” by the transmission and parking brake.

Oil and coolant both circulate through the block and engine head in separate channels. Where the block and the head meet, there’s a gasket (head gasket) that keeps both those channels and the combustion chamber separated. If that gasket blows that can allow oil and coolant to mix, and can also allow one or both to go into the combustion chamber.

@@moody9287 Head gasket failure doesn't usually allow _that_ much coolant to freely flow, though. It can allow flow when things are pressurized, sure, but that wasn't even pressurized. Mechanic was just spraying water into the reservoir and stuff was flowing at the same rate out the valve cover. There's something more catastrophic that's happened to that engine that we can't see in the clip. Given that it's a Mini, my money's on the oil cooler, but it could also be that a big chunk got taken out of the block internally that's left a huge hole connecting an oil and coolant galley.

That F150 auto-parallel park is a lawsuit right there. Even though the driver should have been the one park it safely, Ford obviously created the feature that is intended to replace parallel parking, and some of the customers are OBVIOUSLY going to use it this way, or pretty regularly. Ford even advertises on KZbin with this feature. If it fails, the manufacturer should be liable for such a faulty feature (unless modifications relating to the sensors was done) No onscreen disclaimer before auto-parallel parking can save their asses on this one.

The truck in the clip is a Thirteenth generation F-150. It cannot automatically parallel park. It features parking assistance that will automatically steer the truck, the driver is still in charge of using the brake and accelerating. The current Fourteenth generation F-150 how ever is equipped with an automatic system in which the truck will steer, shift, brake and accelerate. The driver of the truck in that clip was using the system incorrectly.

5:13 that is normal to happen, corrosion builds up on the hubs and the back of the wheel. Use a buff gun, or any wire brush to remove the corrosion and you should be better. All cars have that, yes probably yours
