I grew up in an oil town, and remember thinking I’m not gonna work oil when I grow up. I’d seem too many missing fingers, eyes, and feet, and in my twenties worked all over the country doing all kinds of jobs. But somehow, I ended up collecting a paycheck from the oilfields. Funny how that works.
