At night you should go back to the high rise area, where the RIU is. There are lots of restaurants, bars and souvenirs there. It does look like you don't do your research. That boat at the Renaissance goes to their private island.

Hi Josh, I really enjoyed this Odyssey/Southern Caribbean series. I did an almost similar itinerary on Harmony of the Seas also out of Fort Lauderdale, Nov 12th 2022 that went to Labadee, Aruba and Curacao.

That’s a bummer that you couldn’t find souvenirs at night but you are right, at least you got some walking in! Although you usually do a lot of walking anyways when you are cruising. We did the North Star in Seattle on our Ovation of the Seas Alaskan cruise; it was something to experience. I agree with you, nobody does the mega deck parties as well as Carnival!❤

I love Aruba! Spent many weeks there. You may have been fortunate not to find cans of soda. I'm thinking you can only bring those on at the embarkation port. Not sure.

I was on Odyssey in December and the food was definitely not up to par. With Caribbean night being the worst of the week. Giovanni's was also bad, I was glad you had a similar experience. And your review of the super hero show, I literally had the same reaction when I left. What was the point of that show. And Izumi sushi was also just not good. I'm just not sure how off that ship can be. I don't know if rccl has an internal audit team but they need to right that ship. Thankfully service and drink package came thru.

I don’t think he is. He’s making valid comparisons between the two. Each have their pros and cons. Carnival really does beat everyone in the deck party category.
