Caribou 4x4 Trail Colorado July 2021

2021 4Runner TRD Pro on Colorado Caribou Trail Creek Section after several days of rain. Manageable except one deep rut that required a bit of work to get out of. July 2021

did this trail except avoided the last deep hole as I was in a stock Tacoma. Fun trail! Last section was way to deep and so much material thrown in, I ended up turning around since it was late, want to eventually get to the lakes!

considering taking my bone stock 06 LJ there today to see the fall colors. may not make it through the deep rutted section though.

I got stuck in that last pit 3 weeks ago. couldnt go across, ruts were too narrow for my ram

I can imagine, still a fun trail especially if you do the full summit portion with that crazy drop off. Considering doing one more run but need to get a clear wrap before anymore Colorado pin stripes :)

@@picklethe4runner-off-roade228 good idea. Didn't know if I should get a PPF/Paint protection because I'm conflicted. I don't want to baby the car but at the same time I don't want to destroy the paint and ruin the resale value. Nobody will look at one of these and say "Oh that one has a bunch of rock chips, that's a man's car!"
