When I was a kid I used to sit by the radio and listen to the top 40 countdown every week and one day this song comes on “M/A/R/R/S - Pump Up The Volume”. and it just completely blew my mind. I’ve never heard any electronic music before, I’ve never heard anything like it. It stuck with me for all this years and now I made my own track based on it. 🔊 listen/download: caribou.lnk.to/volume

Amazing. This track absolutely PEGS what I loved about the original M/A/R/R/S "Pump Up the Volume" track - which was (of course) the 808 conga/toms with delay FX - basically the signature sound of that track, and this gets it exactly! Great use of it, and shifting the pitch, to make something new. Bravo!

0:36 OMG they used footage of M/A/R/R/S on The Roxy. Pump Up The Volume is such a classic and nobody's ever really revisited it a satisfactory way until now. Makes me feel like I'm 7 again!

Oh my days. This is just unreal. I am 47 so similar age when this came out. Literal goosebumps. Love love. ❤️ the vocal is pure bliss and makes the hairs on my forearm stand up. My friend thus track most definitely gets a 10 from Len.

The vinyl for Pump Up The Volume was great quality. Very thick and bucked the trend for flimsy cheap vinyl at the time. As a result to sounded terrific! Bass was amazing.
