Mixed relays can leave you with some hurt feelings at the end lol but it's a fun new alternative. More about strategy than anything else and the Bahamians had the best strategy in this instance.

The mixed relay really only started in 2017 and added to the World Championship and Olympics about 2 and 3 yrs after, so that's not years ago as you make it seems. It's not as recognized as the other relays as yet hence interest is not really there for our athletes as yet either.
