I have listened to a great many versions of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and to my ear this is how it should be played. I imagine it is very difficult not to "rush" this piece, particularly the last movement. Bravo!

Masterful performance. She nailed it! She nailed the sweet and soulful passages as well as the frantic and stormy passages, infusing her violin with the full ecstatic passion Vivaldi surely wanted for this piece.

There may be a couple of "bigger" names in composing though out history. But no one comes close to Vivaldi in rythym. His blend of dark, beautiful and playfulness violion is unmatched.

I always love to watch the maestros rock out with this Vivaldi piece.

funny thing is that this piece gives me the chill and excitement like when I am listening to metal.

I often ponder what my life would have been like without the sounds of Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Handel, and the other greats. Thank the gods that will never be the case. I pray as I get older that all can be taken from me and I will not care but if I could not hear I would jump a cliff hopefully with the Vivaldi summer presto playing in my mind.

8:21 - 8:40 is the part where most make mistakes. But she did it perfectly in this video. 👍

Applesauce. Rather you study the score first. Quite interesting finding...She plays very well if one agrees with this kind of style approach.

Agree a little with you both. She did GREAT! But I've heard a recording or two that I prefer a little more... maybe because I heard them first and my brain thinks they're "right"
Christopher, Agreed. "Cool" how Vivaldi musically depicts a thunderstorm. 11/20/2016

The dude violinist with the salt and pepper hair and glasses at 10:07 be looking at my boi bobbing his head at the front and getting a little *too* into it thinking "damn, calm down dude, you're not the soloist", lmao.
