There isn’t very many handouts in college in my experience but really depends on what class and if you want to print out class notes yourself. I say a binder is good because class syllabi are your best friend and you don’t want to lose that! Also some textbooks come in loose leaf (cheaper than hardcover ones)

I got over binders because it takes so much space for a few loose leaf paper. Instead I just get a folder now. But it depends on everyone preference.

You should try wearing your backpack with the straps criss crossed when it gets heavy by unloosening both straps and then throwing both straps over your head, what this does is take the weight of your backpack off your shoulders and makes it more comfortable to wear.

@@MariaHernandez-op9sm honestly I didn't really use paper. I was a tech major back in 2015. It was mostly for like English and math. I feel now it's much less paper so you shouldn't really need tons of folder or notebooks anymore unless you really want to write notes on paper.

I would recommend investing in a file expanded (4:25) ! I file receipts from paying for my classes, copies of pay checks, a copy of my passport and license, etc. Especially if you start getting paper handouts of contracts for work or renting, I love expanders
