Caring for Newborn Baby Budgies

My momma budgie laid 4 eggs and all of them came out perfectly healthy! The dad doesn’t really interact with them but he does regurgitate food to her, two of them already sleep outside the nest and eat celery and other greens on their own, one of them flies. It truly is a beautiful process.

Hey denny the budgie I had two budgies Melina (Female) and Kevin(male) both of them were mated. They used to stand upon each other and mate. That time I was small and didn't take care of them well...after a few months sadly Kevin passed away :( Melina stopped eating and drinking after that we dicided to buy another Male bird for her and we did. His name was Melvin. Then both of them started to mate two. They started mating feeding each other. So we bought a nest box for her. So Melvin recently turned 1 year and melina is 2 years old. Melina has many symptoms of a pregnant budgie like feeding Melvin, Melvin feeding her and she also has a big crop. I feed both of them vegetables and fruits (they like vegetables more) So could you just let me know if I can do something for them, if she might be pregnant? Thanks

I've been showing these videos to my husband so he can learn more about budgie chicks and breeding. This is his first time owning birds and he's both nervous and excited about ours rasing their first clutch.😍 Doesn't sound very thrilled about the cheeping and squawking the babies will make once they hatch tho when I showed him a video of the sounds they make and asked "will they cry during the night too?" Me "yes, because they're babies and babies need fed frequently like humans do" 😂 Him "oh no! How will I sleep?!" LOL 😂😂😂

My baby budgie loves me so much! She want cuddles me all the time, whenever I move my hand away from her, she will walk towards my hand and cuddle. But one day, it was very cold, I put some insulations on her nest but she didn't survive since her feathers were not fully developed. I wish, I can bring back the time and cuddle her so she didn't felt cold😢

Hello. We have 5 Budgies in a large enclosure. 1 climbed in the hanging coconut way up top and laid eggs. 1 baby so far. We have no idea who the other parent is.... Mama already kicked 1 out and it took quite a fall, but seems ok. We put gloves on and put the baby back. Never had this happen and we have no idea. We were told at pet store that they were all same sex

Coconut nest makes females hormonal and agressive, it's a nest for them, maybe the chick haven't got kicked just fell of due to small nest, they need bigger nest.
