This last one is an indie film about a Greek family living in Chicago (I'm Greek and was born in Chicago, so there you go...) I love your home! I have that same Nativity for my kids. I love putting that out every year. Also, I am in the real tree camp. I've had both. But, a few years ago we went to a tree farm and cut our own tree. I don't know that I can ever go back now. But, your tree is gorgeous.

I wanted a frosted Christmas tree for years, and last year I bought the $70 frosted pre-lit tree for $69 at Walmart! 6' tall. It's wonderful. I watched several review videos on it first, and I wasn't disappointed.

Yup, happened to me. Melted candles ruined my tree-topper. I feel ya!!! Favorite movies are; Elf, Home Alone 1 & 2, Christmas Vacation & all of The Santa Clauses. I've typically been on Team Real tree (growing up in OR we had beauteous trees). Now that I'm in OH I may get my first (gasp) fake tree. I love how beautifully they can be decorated & less mess/no watering is a perk!!! So glad I got the Target wooden houses...everyone is using them this year!

My favorite Christmas movie is Chasing Christmas, followed by the close second of A Christmas Tree Miracle. We have an artificial tree. My mom never liked cleaning up after and caring for a real trees, so we have had artificial for as long as I can remember. I chose an artificial because of convenience and I am not good at remembering to car for plants. Plus, I learned a few years back that I am allergic to tree pollen, so that's a good reason too. We listen to Christmas music while decorating the tree.
