I too am glad that Fr. Altman mentioned our Tabernacles hidden away in corners. How did this ever come to be? I have communicated my concerns to both the parish priest and the bishop of my small Church only to get a surly letter from the bishop stating that he is "not responsible for the placement of furniture in the churches. That is up to the parish priests." I have heard nothing from our priest. It seems rather senseless and disrespectful to place Our Lord Jesus in a small Tabernacle in a room behind the congregation as we sit with our backs to Our Lord and Savior. I have no idea how this unbelievable practice came to be common place but this needs to be corrected as soon as possible.

Father Deardon almost single handle ruined the Archdiocese of Detroit i was so impressed you mentioned him by name as others dont have the guts to tell the truth about that very sad time in metro Detroit area Catholics lives we as a people of faith sat back and said nothing now look were we are at today this is a sobering reminder of standing for nothing is very damaging thank u so much for your hard work some day hopefully on earth I would be honored to give you a good old fashioned American hand shake and say thank you thank you thank you !!!!
