Damn Carl, had to jump on here right away and tell you I just watched a live Ramble On not even knowing you were on Jimmy duty, and brother you nailed that shit!!!!.... Edit: BTW, if this is your full time band, I will definitely pay for a show if close by!

Love ya, Carl, but this is not inspired. There's poetry, and there's verse---this is verse. You have a great way of doing your videos. I like your style and pleasant personality.
@CarlBaldassarreMusic Жыл бұрын
That’s ok!
@w.geoffreyspaulding6588 Жыл бұрын
Shouldn’t you be giving Robert Plant credit for the poetry then? Not Jimmy? Or were you speaking metaphorically?
@gregdiprinzio9280 Жыл бұрын
@@w.geoffreyspaulding6588 I was speaking metaphorically about the piece as a whole. Plant’s lyrics were often fine, but Page’s creativity as a composer and riff maven was the sine qua non.

That’s actually a good thing as it’s inspired by, not a copy of! I was vibing off of the Page and Plant era with the eastern orchestra musicians interpreting their songs. That’s where I got the string arrangement ideas for this piece.
