YES!!! The great Ras Carl Dawkins!!!! This man IS reggae and Rastafari legend. For those that don't know, Dawkins is an integral part of early Jamaican music. Created the song "Baby I Love You" with J.J Johnson and also collaborated with Peter Tosh and The Wailers. His career was stopped short in the 60's(70's?)when he was arrested for cannabis. He got back into the music circuit in the 70's and enjoyed moderate success until the 80's. Still considered a pioneer and respected legend of the Jamaican music culture. Lovin' these collabs with so many different artists Dub. Always excited to see what new or familiar artist you bring up next and shine a light on. Been listening since 2008 and it just keeps getting better. You do great work. :3

It's amazing how connected we really are, though we ignore and slowly move ourselves away from these connections... Since Dub started uploading dubplates, he mentioned a few details about jamaican culture. One thing that changed my thoughts was that about how they don't overuse the stage. If the crowd likes it, the artist leaves. I realized that in my country, artists or bands do overuse the stage. They don't care if the crowd likes it or not. It's amazing how connected we really are... Jamaica taught Dub things, and Dub taught us things, and now we can teach those things.
