Because you're not aware that there's complete pre-determination at a sub-conscious level? It's an idea that arises from specific epistemologies as far as I know, I.E. - Follows (logical) deduction/induction through language

Perhaps free will is the power to choose. Our choosing is based on what we know, what we don’t know, and what we don’t know that we know. Perhaps we freely choose, only sometimes blindly. If blindly and the choice leads to a poor outcome, are we morally responsible for the choice? As in, should we feel guilty about it? I don’t know. But-my last perhaps-maybe confronting such questions is a good part of why we’re here in these physical bodies on this material earth. Blessings.
