Why Carl haven't ridden the horse like Charlotte has earlier in a clinic? With a headset and microphone on, so people could have understood how one rides correctly.

the young girl is sitting pretty but hasnt the feeling for effective impulsion, she doesnt truly understand the passive and aktive seat what Carl Hester is telling her, aktive to do something with your body and passive to stay balanced with horses back and movement doing nothing but be supple in our body ...one sees it in her shaking head ....but to differ between aktive and passive seat is more important than to think about if i am always pretty looking on a horse , pretty looking developes by its own ...sorry to say

Pferdecoach agree. Not an easy thing. Too many riders push push push all the time sitting heavy on the back. Though she is not doing that. but atleast she isnt using reins to balance and stay on either. Good tuition and time will make her better

yes, if she would ride with such an excellent trainer the horse would become more happy and Go ! but Hester gets the point in that short time .....so many good breeded horse but so less good trainers these days in lower classes ....even the more excellent horses must be ridden more sensitive than most people think about or willing to work for it i think sometimes

I love when someone goes somewhere to LEARN and improve, they are openly criticized for not being perfect. Makes total sense!

When a horse is a tool of someones fame the horse suffers!!

Tami Kahler what do you mean by that?
@tami21706 жыл бұрын
Vicky Croxton when u have to use your horse as a tool to get your pretty little pink ribbons the horse suffers. Take your blinders off and you'll c what I'm talking about.

Tami Kahler That just isn’t true. I’m a dressage rider and I can tell you my horse is very happy!

@@tami2170 There is lots of crappy trainers and riders who are ego driven BUT this is why it is so important, that the sport have those who are in it for the right reasons, and know how to properly develop a horse so it is happy with its work. Carl is actually bringing up horses with classical principles which is a lost art in the dressage world today. Go after the people who are using rollkur and contortion, instead of those showing horses in general. I show my horse to simply get feedback from judges on the progress we are making in our training/development. Even if you are just a trail rider, classical principles are the foundation of every happy riding horse. Check out Arttoride on YT, they are helping tons of horses and it's all free and in depth info.

@@tami2170 True, there are some bad trainers and riders but, the ones that do care make sure that their horse has the best life possible. I recently got a new dressage horse and he's very happy and living a good life.
