It is 2019/09/09 now, last week Pete(Peter now) and Carl had two gigs in Hackney Empire. I am looking for videos of those gigs and the youtube random playlists lead me there. 12 years ago, the same place. At that time, no one would ever know that they shall be parted for a decade before "the true reunion" in 2015, and no one could ever imagined that after 12 years they are still writing together and they now had a hotel of their own...Not to mention last week in Hackney Empire they lit 1001 candles. We're so blessed. The Albion sails on course.

Carl and Peter do great by themselves and their other bands rock.. but it still can't hold a candle to them together. Can't think of two musicians that are more musically intertwined than these two. Together making their music they are whole. (I know - that sounds hokey! - but true!). Seems like neither of them were ever truly comfy or happy without the other. Come on Libertines!!!

the libertines will get back together sometime theres to much money not to, if they done a new album it would sell millions, there bigger now than when they where together. they could do what radiohead done an pay online what you think the album would be worth and make loads of cash, id be there at the shop buying it an i aint brought an album in years. i think late next year they'll do it. :) hopefully..

not shore what carl is upto he's said that dpt spliting up is not going to get the libertines back together but he would say that, yeah pete aint no sell out he's all about the music, babyshambles are writing a new ablum now for early next year so av heard :) fingers crossed.
