This just saved me today. Thank you I feel like this hour saved my life. It will save many lives in my circle. I couldn't be more grateful for this channel. I have been struggling with a partner addict and I am a child of two alcoholics one recovering one still active, and my poor stepmother who needs Al-anon herself. thank you. I am going to commit to Al-anon.

Thank you for your sharing! I am preparing to give my story at an Al-Anon meeting this week. You gave several points that made me think of my experience. My son has relapsed a few days ago. Even things that seem bad will be used for good if I trust my God with my life. Thanks for the reminder! I don’t have to worry if God is in control.

I listen to lots and lots of recovery speakers. This speaker has made my top 5 list. I absolutely loved his share! His experiences were very helpful in reminding me of a basic fact, which is "I am always the problem." Thank you for your efforts in providing this wonderful recovery tool.

One of my favorites!! I’ve been a grateful Al-Anon member for 21 years and Carl speaks my language. We have an AA/Alanon event in Northern California every year that we would love to have Carl speak. How would I find him?

I went to an Al-anon meeting in a church to explain what is addiction and to confirm my theory that liars fool liars. Liars reject the truth. Victimism runs in families. Partners of addicts act out the role of martyr, believe the addict is a victim and want others to believe the same. The tragedy of addiction is children who revenge a childhood hurt, or trauma, against their parents becoming victims of themselves so as to conceal the hatred to hurt others. The attendees didn’t even show any interest or reaction after saying that i am a recovering addict and i claim i can prove i have discovered the cure to addiction. It is convenient to not accept responsibility for the upbringing of your own children who revenge an unhappy, hurtful childhood believing the absurdity that addiction is a disease of the brain. Even when the truth would save their children parents of addicts persist lying.

so then what is the cure? I had a perfect childhood and still ended up in the middle of addiction it had nothing to do with my parents. What is any of your proof for these theories you have? Were you in addiction yourself? Why are you so adamant on knocking programs that have helped people for over 90 years?

@@RecoverySpeakerschannel as a recovering addict I claim i can prove that I have discovered the cure to addiction. In order to test if i am right or wrong only my theory on addiction needs to be known. If addiction is a brain disease the publication of the truth addiction is the psychology of a liar, only liars get hooked and only honesty gets freedom would not have any effect on the rates of addiction. On the other hand if i am right addiction rates would collapse. The cure to addiction is honesty, truth, forgiveness, giving to take, living life by life’s terms, living to improve live. Are you interested in testing if the cure to addiction has been discovered or would you silence the truth that saves lives?
