You know me... I really enjoy when you take us for a nice drive anywhere in N.S. I see Tusket is only about 15 minutes from Yarmouth. Carl's would seem to be a General Store on steroids! What an amazing place to browse.

What a fantastic shop! It has a little bit of everything and a lot of novelty items too! (I love the Ambrose Potier slay! It would be a real holiday treat to experience a horsedrawn ride in such a magnificent vintage 'vehicle'). The East Coast prices are much lower than on the West Coast! I recently bought a Dolly Parton cake mix for $15.99 and I thought I got a real deal. The Trailer Park Boys chips were hilarious! Canadian icons! LOL! Thanks for the tour!!

I have visited Carl’s Store many times while on vacation. My property was in Kemptville so i traveled down the Canaan Road to Tusket many times and continued on one of my favorite stretch of road to Yarmouth. Love the store

Hi Michelle, what an interesting store! They have a bit of everything! I haven’t tried The Trailer Park Boys chips yet. Is the show still on?? When we lived outside of Dartmouth 20 years ago it was filmed quite close to my husband’s workplace. His shop was invited to watch the filming over the course of a week or so. I tagged along one day. Hubby got some photos with the various stars of the show. You can’t find Dolly Parton cakes mixes here either. Hope the two you bought are yummy! Take care and have a good weekend.❤

I love carls store they have alot of unique items especially in their candy section , they have a wonderful butcher shop with good meat usually as well

Hi Linda 👋 After marshmallows are frozen I find that marshmallows are not as super soft as they are before frozen. They are still soft, but not super soft, and the squares still taste delicious. 😀
