I am curious as to why Aiden would leave the business to Alya...granted she is very ambitious however she currently has a grudge against Carla and Kate and if she were to run the business it wouldn't be good for any of the Connors...honestly I liked Alya in the beginning but now she is really doing my head in but idk lol

He left alya his shares when he only had a small piece of the company. He never updated the will.

@@missfit8650 aidan knew exactly what he was doing he planned everything to the t including his farewells and inheritance obviously there was a reason he left the inheritance to alya probs coz he though she was the best person for the job

I will say one thing, if she talked to someone like that in The US or in the "Real" UK world, somebody would B Slapped her like nobody's business. Also, keep in mind that when push comes to shove Michelle, Jenny & Carla have no "Rights" to the Factory. Jenny doesn't know anything about running a Factory, Michelle is a Co-Owner of A Restaurant, and Carla gave up her rights in the not too distant past. Remember on Emmerdale and how upset Jimmy, Matthew & Carl King were when they found out that their Stepmother Rosemary could still live at Home Farm and that Scarlett Mary Nichols was part owner at 10% and that she also was Part Owner of Home Farm. Jenny's lucky that someone should say "You didn't help us when we first took over the Factory, you weren't even here!" Also someone should say "You're Not The Forresters and although you bring alot of Jobs to the Street, to many people you're just a Victoria's Secret Knockoff". Aidan is not a very Smart Man, he should have gotten another Lawyer (other than Adam) to process The Will. Can you imagine if Sally finds out that Aidan left Sophie some "Dollars", she'd go cray cray.
