This was a lovely blog - well done on riding the bike - I had a go on my mums bike (rode it across the seafront in Porthcawl) and almost killed 3 people - I don’t think it is true that ‘you never forget how to ride a bike’. But you may just have inspired me to have another go, because I was pretty nifty on one, 35 years ago! The lamp Lexx bought you was gorgeous, I will be hunting one down next time I am down there, and you had so many other lovely gifts and cards off your watchers too - well deserved X
