Carp fishing on the lost river. This was an old river system which has since been dammed and now is home to some incredible carp. I set out with an old friend @SnaggedOnFish to track them down.

Carl this is your best one to date. Fishing is not just about catching its sharing them times with friends. You both bounced off each other and I loved every min watching the friendship rekindle. It's true haha we were doing it for free for a LONG time! We only monetised the channel when we went full time after leaving Nash, before then we had ads turned off. It was a hard decision to turn on ads, but it was the only way if we were going to make more films possible without the day job.

As a professionel predator angler, i’ve always focused on Pike, Perch, Zander etc.. but watching these Carp videos is seriously relaxing at another level. On the contrary I even felt the adrenaline when you guys finally hooked into good fish. Amazing content as always mate. You are so talented at showing, why we all love fishing. Amazing video. Cheers. Love your Dutch adventure videos. I spent 2 years living and fishing in the Netherlands. They have the same species, but it's so different. I once stood on a bridge over the Maas, and the river in front of me was full of carp, cruising just under the surface. Thousands of fish, all the same size maybe 5-8lb. I've never seen anything like that in a British river.

Carl, you capture so well the feeling of discovery trips (I did my share of those)... The high energy and hard work to begin with, the setbacks, the slow desperation creeping in as days go by without results, the fatigue building up and making you fall back to unsatisfying backup approaches, the last bolts of energy bringing you back on track, and suddenly, things start to click...
