3:16 is exactly why you don’t ride to close to each other but I’m glad to see you didn’t ride to close 😃
@killiansirishbeer5 жыл бұрын
Personally, I think they're way to close, they're good riders and were lucky for how the black horse refused the jump but even good riders get unlucky. I have seen countless horses refuse jumps and then go backwards instead of to the side, especially if the rider falls. Even though horses try their best to avoid something rather than stomp on it, if the black horse had tried to go backwards or his rider had fallen the chestnut horse's rider would have been way to close and it would have been very complicated to avoid and more importantly unnecessarily dangerous.

K Nogne not completely but if you do you are just praising the horse and that can give them confidence boosts and help there performance on whatever your doing. Wow, those are novice trials? Extreme! I always wanted to do cross country training, as I live in the country and exclusively ride trails down crop fields, roads, and our local town. My mare is a 9-year-old, 15hh, dark bay tobiano Quarter Horse. We've come a long way since I got her and I think we could do something like this. She likes water well enough, walks over huge logs no problem, although I haven't trained her to jump. My future goal! My hat's off to you for getting back on when she was galloping through that water. Your adrenaline must've really been pumping. I'm still working on changing directions at any pace faster than trot. Kinda scared to go faster than canter unless riding with someone.

Do you have rubber pads under the horses shoes, so they don't get stone bruises from running threw the water or is it sand on the bottom, I'm not a english rider so i don't know 😂 good video

What a fantastic course. hope it's still going. Bad luck on the fall. Nicely ridden the rest. Wish I could go round there!

Is this really novice trial? My God! Can't believe it! Such speed and those sharp turns! But must be really fun. I can say I'm a little bit jealous, because we don't have such riding tradition here - I think, that such hunter trials would be amazing and very popular among all those hobby riders here. Would like to try it personally, but slowly, carefully :-)
