This is a much more nuanced and pleasing sound that many of the modern guitars and Carles has the delicate touch to exploit it

Beautifully played throughout but I am particularly amazed at how well the Debussy "Spanish" pieces from the Preludes and Images came out. I'm very familiar with all of those and hearing how well he pulls just the right voices on a few strings to capture the feel of the broader piano chords that could go horribly wrong in lesser hands. Wonderful sure-footed transcriptions played with superb feel for Debussy and the Maestro's always wonderful way with the guitar.
