It takes about 3 minutes to shut off! This is the feather of the car and not an issue! This is done to avoid sudden power loss which may result in product failure or if dashcam is installed then it would not be able to record the video of the last second

The difference is about the sim compatibility, if it's USA and Canada version then sim is differently operated and in other countries sim is different so yes we need the other version than what you had ordered! I am glad that the company itself mailed you rather sending a wrong item else a lot of issue would have been created
