Carlisle to Glasgow Central Class 397

You could call this Part 2 as we’ve already covered Manchester Airport to Carlisle and there will be a Part 3 from Carstairs to Edinburgh. For those thinking there are other videos of this route, ne two videos will be the same and none so far have a 397 as the traction. We have a mix of weather which is entirely representative and we get to see the new layout at Carstairs Junction.

There is no line crossing above the station at Motherwell. The junction to Coatbridge is further on.
