During the slo mo, you can see that Carlos is fully turned before the ball bounce. Looks like he has all the time in the world to hit the ball. Amazing

Good Footwork. Needs to be more practiced in Amateur Tennis

certainly this can be important, but if you look closely it depends on the speed and depth of the incoming shot

Timing. I think it's a highly under-rated skill in tennis. You can hit as hard as DelPo , can be as accurate as hell as RF, can run to the ball as fast as Rafa, but if you don't time your swing on the right time and the exact contact point, at the exact distance from your body, that ball won't be deadly when it goes back the opposite side.

No actually during the slow mo you can see the exact opposite thing.

Terrific videos thanks. I would like to use about 15s of your slow motion footage for a short series of analysis videos. I would credit your channel and link to it. Would that be ok? Cheers Andy

Is Carlos cross-eyed dominant or not ? BTW, great video, thanks for uploading it.

Try turning down the video speed to .5 or .25 in the settings in the dashboard.
