There is only one important thing to remember: using R. Skill and Echo Shorekeeper (Buff) should be done when you are about to deal explosive damage. For example, in this case, as you can see at 1:28 Even though Carlotta receives the outro buff from Changli, it doesn’t matter at all if she is immediately swapped to Shorekeeper to use the R. Skill and Echo. Reason: Changli provides the R. Liberation buff and the Fusion buff, both of which are completely useless for Carlotta. Therefore, I swap the character to Shorekeeper to apply the buffs and then swap back to Changli to deliver explosive damage.
