I played this since I was like 12, played it a couple of times cause the music was bumping. And it was kinda like I was in the lab of hell. Childhood memories, I wish they remastered this of crash wrath of cortex for Xbox 360.. I'll be reliving my childhood all over again 😊😊😊👍👍

I think they're supposed to be little flares that burst out of the lava, but the animation is very slow so it looks like something else

Every time I get to the end of this level, I'm missing a box. It's so frustrating! I did exactly what you did; I don't understand which one I could be missing :(

I was missing a box too. Turns out it was the one right before the first invincibility crate that is in the top left hand screen. By the time you get to the bonus level you should have 56 boxes.
