10 wins in a row (i.e. adoption) in such tournament isn't impossible for Carlsen. He has already pulled such feat before in accelerated/blitz chess. Sometimes, he seems just bored over the board and not motivated enough to play at 100% of his capability. No serious rivals I guess

I'm just gonna keep saying it until players learn. Magnus PROTECTS HIS KING. It's why he wins. Look at this game at the 5 minute mark. Magnus has an ideal castled King and 2nd rank pawn defense. Meanwhile, Black has his king moved out towards the center of the board completely exposed doing god knows what. Again, why aren't we castling quickly against Magnus? Why aren't we focusing on King safety the way he is? Trust me, you aren't going to outplay him by getting cute and taking him off book, so just stick to fundamentals and protect your KING!
