As someone with life experience watching this video because it was suggested, I would like to say to young people or to anyone who thinks this is great; I know this is acting, but this IS actually a great representation of something beautiful, consistency is so important and Freddie has always been there for Carly. Don’t ever make excuses for anyone who tells you that they care about you or want you, their actions will prove it.

Freddie's obsession turned into love for Carly and that's what made her fall in love and obsessed with him. Like she said he was always there for her to help out that he became a consistent person in her life that she can't seem function without and he can't without her. She's the solely reason why his both marriages failed because she was always in the back of his mind. Even with him married Carly always saw him as hers and why she's friends with his ex-wife Gwen because she never truly lost her Freddie. Really one of the longest slow burns in tv history!

One thing I wished discussed was the transition of boys and men Carly was into. It went from hot dummies to hot nerds. And then later, hot dorks. I just find this interesting because she started dating guys more like Freddie towards the end of the series and then in ICarly reboot, kinda dated down. It was clear she wasn’t serious about anyone because she liked Freddie for a long time, or she would have settled because, it’s Carly, she’s a catch! I just think she liked him for a long time, and when the timing was right it was right.

Freddie's heart was always with Carly. That's the Creddie/Seddie difference. He loved Sam, ..even told her so. Still, he was never *in love* with her. I love that the revival tells us that they talked a lot while she was in Italy and that Freddie went to visit her, hoping to start over with her. I think Sam was better for him than Carly in high school, but now as adults, I think Carly belongs with him. Unlike Carly, in high school, Sam wasn't afraid to be with Freddie once she admitted her feelings. But Carly I think always liked him, she was just afraid to let herself be with him, because she was afraid of losing him and their friendship. So I give Sam credit there. But in the end, Sam and Freddie clashed too much and just weren't super healthy. They had cute moments, for sure..but as I said, in the end, Freddie's heart was always gonna come back to Carly. And I'm glad that Carly finally let her guard down, opened up her heart, and told Freddie the truth. Creddie Forever! ❤❤️❤️

It speaks to how much more Carly cares about Freddie that she protected their friendship for all those years. Sam wasn’t afraid to be with Freddie back then because their friendship was nowhere close to the same level of emotional investment that Carly and Freddie have in each other as friends. They didn’t choose each other as friends' circumstances helped them cultivate a friendship. Carly and Freddie are different. Carly made the choice to be Freddie's friend even with his constant infatuation with her, she protects him and scolds Sam for bullying him, she jokes around with him, and shows disappointment when she dreams about the possibility of him having a girlfriend and subsequently appreciates his time and attention much more, she has an ever-increasing emotional investment in her friendship with Freddie, that becomes permanent and deeply meaningful for her after he saves her life and just continues to grow, and when they are alone she shares personal space with him. That's the difference Sam likes Freddie but without iCarly I don't think they become friends. Carly and Freddie were always close friends icarly didn’t matter
