It actually crushes me how underrated she is and how people refer to her as a "one-hit wonder". This album came out at an emotional time in my life and every song somewhat spoke to me. Such relatable, but cleverly written lyrics with banging productions respectively to match. It may have commercially failed, but idc, it is a phenomenal album for me - Pop at its best!

Estaba muy adelantada ella en ese momento los artistas populares andaban en una honda electrónica, si hubiera salido en el presente sería muy escuchada, ahora que la mayoría de artistas comerciales incluyen synth pop en sus canciones y es utilizado como una forma de nostalgia que te atrapa y te hace recordar aquellos años si son pegajosos los sintetizadores mucho mejor con un buen marketing, la gente se conforma con música común, básica y simple de igual manera los buenos amantes de la música saben que es el mejor álbum que se adaptó e homenajeo bien a los 80s fue este.

I agree & Carly is soooo much better than Taylor, it's so sad Taylor gets all the attention when every song Carly has produced on E.MO.TION is a masterpiece, the music industry has only really let her shine in Call Me Maybe and I Really Like You which are great songs but imo she has songs on the new album that are 1000x better than them
