Just because many celebrities have poor pronunciation, doesn't mean Carly should lower her standards. Check out videos of her singing as a young girl, even before X factor. She's so talented and I feel that she should highlight that in her music.

You should not guide your decisions based on negative responses. Chances are you just need to stay honest with yourself and learn from your mistakes and improvement opportunities. NO YOU SHOULD NOT give up on your singing career! Just learn to develop your skill so it becomes appealing and pleasant to your audience. If you are stuck on a self centered proud judgment. Its hard to tell if you are serious. Then again, I could be saying something that might lead you to stop pursuing your career or worse even stop pursuing life. Umm, I guess you should give up if the odds are stacked against you. This is not the place to discuss such a thing, but singing is a skill that can be learned. Every one can become better at singing. So, it depends, if you think that the time you will use in order to get better at singing is enjoyable, you have nothing else better to do, and if you think these words might actually motivate you to follow your dreams. Then, do not give up. I recommend you research some of the decision making biases. Since we all have some sort of bias in our thinking, not wanting to give up even when things are going badly will cost you more than you wish. Just saying. HMU, lets chit chat. =P P.S most musicians I listen to these days use auto tune its funny that people think you suck and you are willing to share it in a comment section under a Carly Rose video =P. Awesome. Be whole. Be complete. Be 100%.
