I've been watching you and Tanner for a few years now and my son is 17 and my daughter is 19. I know we've never met in person, but I feel like I'm watching my kids racing when I watch you and Tanner. You're both so humble and have such great attitudes! NOTE TO THE HOLMES... upgrade steering parts!! Both of you in the same night at the same track. Carly, at the end of ever heat, every race, talk to yourself OUT LOUD if necessary "What did I learn in this heat?" When you quit learning or quit asking the question "what did I learn?", quit. Love your attitude, driving the hauler and refusing to quit...That didn't surprise me at all. Really wanting to see you succeed.

First time in a different animal tight car tough track lots of wrecking tough learning curve ! A smoother track with more bite will definitely help but you took a tough situation for your first time and learned probably more then you think ! You did it right and learned without hurting anything ! Great job for hardly having no time in the seat !! A test day would do you wonders !! Stay safe young lady !! You showed mature patients !!!!

Had to watch again just because you haven't been out here very much since your accident, my fingers are crossed with hopes by now you are very close to 100% for the upcoming 2023 season have you had a chance at the backyard track to see how it feels to get back in and do a few laps I know it's time to start going over your car to get ready, always have admired how you as a young lady step up and run with the guys it's not just a mans world, and how you have no problem showing them why, the positive reinforcement you all in the family show for each other you and Tanner passing it back and forth to each other is special, it's just going to be great to see you back out here "pushing the cushion" and relating it to all of us..... You have to do something about the broken studs or bolts in the steering linkage. Maby heaver duty parts or grade 8 bolts. Very dangerous as is. With all that went on a very good night for Carly.

Good job Carly! You survived your first 360 race on a difficult track that tore up a bunch of equipment that night. Great race, Carly, for your first time in the 360 and facing a tough rough track, you survived a steering failure and still finished in P-9, earning the Hard Charger Award for the night. Tanner also suffered a steering failure and didn't finish that far ahead of you. You've just survived some very harsh trials and have gained some valuable experience. Carly best thing you can do on a rough Track and still stay fast is drive around the ruts as best as you can and cut across the ruts don't drive in them find you a line to avoid them but where you can stay on the throttle. As for dry slick just keep the car loaded with the brake and keep your momentum up.

Nice Job. Interesting you and your brother each had the same parts failure. I would suggest getting rid of the studs and going with a bolt, spacer, and lock nut for the steering components. Keep digging.
