Carmelo is currently 9th in scoring rank. Stupid to say he’s trash. Anyone in the NBA, even Kobe, PG, Pierce and Iguodala, would say that he’s the toughest to defend as he can do any shot he wants and leave them in ice bags after. Prime Melo was a problem

@IGcantstopfactsbreh You can detail these things even for Kobe, Lebron, Steph, or even Jordan. Each player has their own bad stat especially in their waning years. Clearly he has a different work ethic and mentality as other players who contend for title. But to gain the respect from the best of the best by acknowledging him as an elite scorer clearly speaks about his capabilities. Even Kobe said that he was the toughest to defend since he can score wherever and however he wants to, and he'll make you feel that 30 or 40 points. So easy to discredit players when you put then to absurd standards like you do, especially when they're disrespected by the media and trolls like you :D

Second, I was acknowledging what other NBA elite players, who played with and against Melo for several years, have said about Melo’s scoring game. Who would I take seriously? Them or a bum-ass like you who hinges on this idiotic 0 All-NBA first team point? Several players like Reggie Miller, Vince Carter, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Pau Gasol, Manu Ginobili, Rajon Rondo and more have not made it to All-NBA first team but aren’t trash. Heck, Jimmy Butler and Demar Derozan still isn’t there but they’re not trash. Not even a Melo fan, but I still see how he could score any way he wants to because of how skilled he is: it could be post, putback bully ball, drive, one-dribble pull-up, he could do it as he is very skilled offensively. Yes, he could’ve had a better career but there’s no denying that his offensive game especially at 1v1 is elite. The guy has lightning fast jab step and a clear triple threat especially at mid-range. He gave prime Kobe a hard time during his time in Denver with his physicality and bully ball game in WCF, which was way more entertaining to watch than the current NBA. Watch more basketball and stop relying too much on media bullcrap that keep saying facts. Not a great career doesn’t mean you’re trash all around. You’re clearly a troll, as can be seen on this whole comment section, and I don’t know why I’m still responding to you 🤷‍♀️
