I thought she was super annoying. But there were moments where I felt sorry for her. Like when her best friend (and ONLY friend) moved away during season 1. Afterwards, she had a deep load of trouble finding and keeping any real friends.

Thank God Carmen prevented her Friend from being unwittingly exposed to a 10 year old by spraying perfume in his eye. Private schools have higher standards, and Carmen was often late, broke the dress code, frequently kissed in public, lied, ran away, and missed her finals. George and Angie were trying to cover for her, so somebody had to hold her accountable.
