One Of My Childhood games i played and enjoyed. I stretched it out to you can see its actually smaller than this and yes that's 265 colors quality...Nothing i can do to salvage it. Hope you enjoy and remember

Before “The Stanley Parable”, there was “Carmen Sandiego’s ThinkQuick Challenge”. The only Carmen Sandiego game which has a great beginning, a decent middle, but no end.

This is probably why I dislike the game so much. There is no actual ending. The closest you will ever get to catching Carmen is occasionally catching sight of her in one of her minion’s hideouts before she escapes through some sort of physics-defying time-hole. Doesn’t Carmen herself say in the intro “Catch me if you can”? Apparently, this is the one time we can’t. The game is fun to play if you know this in advance, but if you try playing it to catch Carmen, you will soon find it painfully monotonous, and an incredible waste of time as you reach the “100-cases solved” but are no closer to catching Carmen.

There's actually a few games where you don't catch Carmen. Games made by the Learning Company and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt don't allow you to catch her, but at least they give you an ending of some kind after Think Quick. I mean look what we have here. It's the home game equivalent of Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? PBS 1996-1998 and you can tell Mari Devon here is trying her best to sound closer to the second live actress Brenda Burke (who also did the 1997 CD-Rom version of Time and brought her gameshow goons with her before hiring some more puns.) than she did in Word and Math Detective (where she sounds far more V.I.L.E. instead of just mildly catty), and is expanded to include more subjects than just history, by adding The Arts/Music, Science/Forensics, Math, Language and of course her personal favorite subject...geography...you just never know when the sequencers are gonna pop up, even if it isn't always a reverser one. That said...I wonder why they didn't just go ahead and do full Time gameshow bonus round here, but with an option to be quizzed on the player's favorite subject. I mean Time's gameshow literally presents you with the best possible bonus round idea for this series. An H2H of wits with Carmen herself before giving her a crystalized cell (that she escaped from probably within an hour since she only stays for however long it's punny.)...and the gate challenges could be augmented accordingly. (I.E. if the subject is art the player must "paint" a picture using some materials provided if wrong...like at Egypt a bad answer would mean needing to paint a joke about a grammar rule using an eye, the sea and a flea in glyphs, but not Coptic.) and still only having 90 seconds to do it.

I would love to play this game! Carmen's still the bad ass I remember her as when I was a kid and I love the intro of this game. It looks like an AWESOME game. I have to admit I don't like the other stuff that they have done with her. The Adventures in Math is promoting Common Core and that kind of ticks me off. I have played that game and it is horrible! The older games are WAY BETTER!!!!!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER LEARNING COMPANY?!?! YOU USED TO BE WAY BETTER!!!!

If only the game were as promising as it’s intro! “Carmen Sandiego’s ThinkQuick Challenge” (the first Carmen game to be published by The Learning Company instead of Brøderbund Software) is by far the weakest of the Carmen Sandiego games, in my opinion. It is the only game that doesn’t have an actual ending, and Carmen herself just makes a few cameos before the game resets and puts you back at the beginning, as if the many hours you put into playing this game never happened. I like the initial concept of the game (like an educational TV game show), but without an ending or a satisfying capture of Carmen herself, there’s really no point.
