The decisions you make if you KNOW that you only have, for example, 5 years to live are vastly different to those you might make if you think you might have another 20 years. It will affect your state of mind, how reckless you are, everything. It might not make any difference to the outcome (if you believe in fate), but it might.

I loved Himeno! It hurt to see her go. I'll admit that I really love this anime but what you said at the beginning does make me wonder. I can do dark and violent but I've really been loving this series as it is (at its present level of darkness). Thank you for your commentary. Really enjoyed it! Really liked the Makima train scene. The art in this series keeps jumping off the screen and grabbing me.

If I understand this correctly, age of consent only means that authorities may choose to ignore cases where *only* minors of that age or above are involved. If children below age of consent are involved, the kid's parents will probably be punished for violation of obligatory supervision - at least that's how some European countries handle that.
