Carmen, great video as always! Whether they climb or trail, they are all so beautiful. I picked up a 4” Ruby Necklace hanging basket at Lowe’s on Friday, 06/25. It was on clearance for $4.00. I clipped off the damaged dead vines and cleaned out the dead leaves. She was bone dry so I watered her. When I checked her this afternoon, I was shocked to see how hard she was working to survive. Hopefully she will continue to improve and one day be as gorgeous as yours! Take care and happy growing!! 👌🌿🥰💚

I have two njoy pothos. The one I bought from the grocery store is sitting on top of my stand alone closet across the room from my big bedroom window. It didn't do much for the first year I had it but since spring, it has grown quite a bit. The other one I have I saved from a root rot problem pot. Two small pieces made it. One piece reverted back to green and the other kept the varigation. It sits on a west window sil and is now happy too. (Even if the cat upset it once.)

13 out of 15 of my Kleinea petrae (Trailing Jade) stems rotted away 😞. They came in 1 big pot. The 2 that made it enjoyed summer on my balcony and have tripled in length 😄 Your Brasil Philodendron is fabulous 🙌 I use rebar instead of curtain rods so I don’t have to worry about the weight of pots. I spray paint the rebar to match the wall/room they’re in. 😉

Beautiful trailing plant babies Carmen, especially the ruby necklace 🤩. Yw Carmen, can’t wait to see another plant tour, everything must be growing like crazy. We are having a heat wave here in NY, and like the west coast this past weekend it’s the humidity with the high temps. You are lucky in Az in that you don’t really have the humidity but it’s definitely 🥵🥵.

Have you found that N’Joys are prone to root rot? I have killed 3, I didn’t think I over watered them, waited tell they seemed dry. But they died on me. I have a Pearls and Jade doing great. Very puzzling.
@carmenwhitehead3 жыл бұрын
No, I have two actually and I haven't had that issue. I do have all my Pothos and Philodendrons in very chunky mix, so the water drains quickly.
@wightwick133 жыл бұрын
Bought 3 x 4” N’Joys to pot together. One died after a couple of weeks - root rot. Couple of months later the other two were doing well so repotted them together in a terracotta pot using De La-Tanks soil and put them back in same place. They didn’t grow at all, then a few leaves died and then a few more and a few more - unpotted the plant - the few roots that were left were rotten.
@carmenwhitehead3 жыл бұрын
@@wightwick13 Uggh! That sucks, so sorry to hear that.
@wightwick133 жыл бұрын
Yes, it did suck and I was a ‘little’ ticked but over it now - day(s) in the life of a plant parent. Lesson learned - will buy larger, more established plant if I see one that takes my fancy - Snow Queen?
@beverlyportlamoureux84593 жыл бұрын
@@wightwick13 Mine were small also. When I repotted them they didn’t have very many roots. So not well established at all. I probably needed chunkier soil, but I also think the smaller plants just don’t have enough roots on them. Sell them too soon. If I ever get another N’Joy it will be a larger plant.
