Holy crap this thing is enormous now. The gym was nowhere near this size when I attended State. The only things that I recognize are the pools and the basketball courts. I do recall the locker room being ginormous, and I imagine it's even bigger now.

Great video! I just got to NC State a couple weeks ago. Just one thing: those short climbing walls are bouldering routes which are not all for beginners. It is a type of climbing that is shorter and higher intensity. The taller walls are more endurance focused while the bouldering walls are sprints.

Thanks. The pool looks the same as I remember, everything else must have been renovated in the last ten years.

Great concert last night. Thank you for recording. Let my battery get too low. 🤦🏻 Did you by chance get the clarinet ensemble or the wind quintet? That last full piece was magnificent (with the swirling, singing and power horns).

That small practice wall is actually for bouldering! Way harder than normal rock climbing, if it’s done the right way

Do you still get enough basketball courts to play when there're intramural games?
@creatingoutloud82112 жыл бұрын
Usually when there are official matches, two of the courts will be reserved, but the rest will be accessible to the students

Is it cheap living there? I’m starting in the spring to start my PhD.

Raleigh isn't cheap, but i guess it's all relative to your previous experience and expectations.

Lots of wasted space. Nice facilty but a lot of equipment could be added. They take in plenty of cash to pay for it.
@TheGingerYT5 ай бұрын
Opportunity cost, if they spend money on more equipment, then that’s money taken away from another aspect of there budget.
