I'm new on trading and since i have been studying price action and smart money concepts, couldn't understand until now, the difference between support and resistance and supply and demand areas. I have been comparing the charts with the information that you are sharing on your video and also, this could explain perfectly well what hunting liquidity is. Almost for me. Many traders such as me, sometimes trust on a support or a resistance strength until it is suddenly broken, then we are stopped out and then, the price continues it's way just on the same direction we expected. I must have to add this concepts to my trading strategy. Thanks for the video.

First of all, a big thank you for sharing your insights! One question though, at 9:35 you have a demand zone based on a 2h candlestick (which is clearly part of the uptrend). If these are the signals for a "balanced" market, I would need to draw 5 bazillion supply/demand zones in my chart. Understanding that breaking down the 2h into perhaps 15min candles will give a different picture - but isn't that just looking for self-fulfilling prophecies nonstop?

I find that for intraday forex trend trading most important relevant (Guide)trend direction is ON 15 minute, 1h and 4h charts only-- For intraday trading weekly & monthly trends do not matter much(too far removed from intraday field of activity) & can be ignored. For simplicity sake if 15 minute ,1h & 4h trends are in the same direction, you have a trade set up in the same direction (one could fine tune entry 0n 5 minute charts). In general if daily candle be in the same direction for any trade it is better but not A must.--Sir, what do you have to say?

Thanks for putting out all this content. I just saw these videos and I'm actually having quite a bit of trouble following how you determine what is a demand zone or a supply zone. I watched several videos and it doesn't seem to click. Do you have another more introductory video where you have a completely new chart without any zones drawn and you explain how you determine those zones? I understand the underlying actions to buy and sell when they approach those zones, but I have absolutely no grasp on picking those zones. It seems arbitrary/subjective, even though I know they aren't. Can you help?

Like at minute 8, I'm not comprehending how you know there's a buy-order imbalance. The large red candle going down tells me that sell orders are pushing the price down. But how do you know there are buy orders sitting there waiting for the price to come down before a bunch of buy orders fire off and send the price shooting back up? You said you already knew there was a demand zone below the support. But how'd you even determine that demand zone to begin with?

I’m in the same boat. The only logic he shares is the buy or sell orders sitting there after a large move down. The same could be said of support and resistance. It resisted there because too much supply. I don’t see how that’s differentiated from a zone where there’s to many sell orders on one side. Whether it’s 1 institution or a lot of ppl too much supply is too much supply. I feel like every vid is jus “this happened cause it came to supply. It’s supply because price moved from there. Buy at demand sell at supply “ but never actually says why that is supply. No hate or shade meant to be thrown either. I appreciate everyone educating others but every vid sounds the same. There is no more new detail being added in any vid.

SIR, When trading forex with daily support/resistance levels trades get executed infrequently--so next choice is S/R 4 H chart levels, as directional bias & 15M chart price action live execution. Anyone recommends putting standing orders at 15M,S/R levels in direction of 4H trend in 6-8 forex pairs every day & SIT. After all at S/R levels odds of TRADING EDGE are still better than even, Each order has stop loss but no TP--need your wisdom.

Even if S/D area gets respected OR rejected, market can still whip saw in the area & trader can still lose. You used the term "aggressive orders". What makes an order aggressive?
@fabiennevdk7045
@fabiennevdk7045 Жыл бұрын
Market orders are aggressive orders, as traders want to enter/exit the market immediately and are willing to get filled at whatever the current best bid/offer is. Limit orders are passive orders, as traders are willing to wait until their desired price is reached and their limit order will just sit there until the condition is met.

I disagree with your definitions of S/R. For me S/R are not necessarily exact that price cant break. When mapping S/R you often times move it to get the most touches going left and there will be numerous or even many small breaks of it.
