many many years ago when this video first went up and comments had not yet been turned off for this channel someone said that they definitely cut off luke early so they could give lex the drop and yeah i agree

I’d believe it. I noticed the black dude that went second during the first song was cut off WAYYY early and wasn’t given the same amount of time as any of the other dancers. Sad bc they prob didn’t want him to set the bar too high off jump. His improv was perfect during the ballad.

I’m back in 2024 after watching the newest ones… they don’t make them like they used to🥲 the musicality, flexibility, technique, sportsmanship amongst the dancers AND the music then, nothing like that now.
