At the time this concert took place, Annie Lennox was suffering from laryngitis. She toughed it out, and put on an amazing concert performance, even though Lennox stated in interviews that she did not like her performance that night.

Always loved the live version of this song, much better than the album version (which I always found a little sedate). Hadn't seen this concert in ages - she really looks a bit out of her mind, the Grace Jones influence that she's often mentioned in interviews is all over this performance. Thanks for posting.
