Depends on the version of venom and carnage, but in their base forms with no outside supernatural or cosmic help, I'd give it to carnage. Comic book wise he's been shown to over power venom and spiderman at the same time, I mean that's insane!!!

Venom is my favorite character in all of marvel comics, but there's no argument that in their initial interations, Carnage is without question stronger. Venom actually went from straight villain to anti-hero solely due to the appearance of Carnage. In the original comics he and Spiderman legit had to team up to make it a fair fight, and that's what made readers realize Venom actually had morals and wasn't pure evil when compared to his red counterpart

We already new Venom had morals andcwas not pure evil way before Carnage. For example in Amazing Spider-Man 332 he was about to kill Spider-Man but stopped to save a drowning baby. Or like how he promised Peter he would never hurt his Aunt May. Or how in the Spider-Man annual he saved a couple from some muggers.

Any Klyntar? Probably Toxin, dwarfed in strength only by Knull (Who I do not think is a symbiote himself) If i have to choose between Carnage and Venom only, Carnage. Carnage is more powerful and has no weaknesses. The Klyntar weaknesses only annoy him, they do not hurt him. The issue is that Carnage is really weird, a prime example would be his ability to operate without a host. He is one of the VERY FEW symbiote who do not need a host. He is far more dangerous with one, but he is still deadly without.

@@johnsean122 I don't think you got what I was trying to say. In power and abilities, it's carnage all day and it's not even close. But carnage is definitely not better symbiote to it's host. He tends to take over the host's body and operate on his own. He doesn't even uses "WE". In the comics, it was pure luck than Carnage got a psychopath host of Cletus. Venom is way more reliable symbiote with far better IQ and way less recklessness. Venom is a better symbiote by far who tends to work together unlike Carnage.
