It's cool that Last Raven added in the box cover ACs in the VR arena. Sure wish there wasn't somethings so horribly wrong with most of them.

New subscriber here Im glad i thought im the only one who's still playing the armored core series. Anyway of all the arena ac, daemon is the only one i haven't yet beaten at all. If op-intensify is allowed it would've been a cake walk i guess.

There are a lot of ways to beat Dae mon. Here are three approaches: 1. Speed, go for 450 km. A light biped with G91/lotus + Amanda + vulture 2 is a good starting point. If you boost backwards fast enough, your enemy flattens their flying to keep uo, being less of an air target. 2. Rifles + Gaea or C98E EO core. keep your distance and ping away. 3. ECM. The cyberspace level starts with ECM, so that help out your generators. Syamana is the way all around. Keep to in the air. Try jump boosting before deploying one at the high point, to lessen the chance that someone collides into it. Good luck.

@@thdn8127 thanks. Btw, one of the problem i had fighting that guy is because of the pillars. there's like a ton of it in his arena that whenever i boost backwards i bump into one and he just rains bullet right in your face. I probably have to memorize each pillar to not get caught in it.

I know im late, buuuut atop of my head; With no OP-I involved, i think youd have a good chance against "dAeMoN" with a frame that has decent stagger-resist, and respectable-ish speed (360km *at least* ). For weapons, im confident with *only* HP dual combo _and_ ROC4 dual combo *as hangars* No backs, only a radar *if* necessary. Thats my 2c anyway for parts selection. For strats....well, dAeMoN always has a terrible (or fortunate) habit of going _straight towards_ *you* You can use that to your advantage

Formula Front is probably my favorite Armored Core game lmao Anyways! Here's some tips: 1. With battles being short, AC vs. AC combat, the most optimized ACs are those with weapons that have low ammo, high firepower. This doesn't mean that high ammo counts aren't important, but single shot damage is far and away the most important stat a weapon can have. 2. If you'll be using the AI, just invest all your points in the bottom stats; Heat, Energy, Move, Weapon, Search, Control, and Terrain are the most important aspects of the AI. Offensive and Defensive Strategy and Enemy is pretty useless. 3. Use the Operations chips! They're really useful if you're gonna be going with AI- especially if you want your AC to have a specific playstyle. One thing though: DO NOT MAKE THE AI USE OVERBOOST. They are *terrible* at it. 4. Final tip with the AI- in the Behavior section, if you want your AC to bunnyhop as much as possible, raise Jump and Boost to maximum, and Walk to minimum. If you're gonna do this, make sure they have good Energy Usage! Also, Blades are pretty bad with the AI, though that's expected, I suppose. That's all of the tips I can think of right now, the rest is just standard, good AC building principles. These are just the particular things I've noticed in all my time playing Formula Front. The game really meant a lot to me, since the mainline AC games are unplayable on an actual PSP, which was all I had as a kid, but I loved the concept of ACs so when I discovered FF, it was a dream come true lmao Looking forward to the FF Requests! Yay formula front! I got another blader ready! Anyway just remember that some weapons should probably be banned like the bp bazooka and grenade rifles. As for new viewers, I would recommend they watch the last competition to get a general look at how the game works.

I think I discovered a hidden mechanic....I noticed when using the quad legs, any equipped laser blade uses a stabbing motion instead of a slashing motion, and the damage done is significantly increased. Has anyone noticed this? You can 2 shot kill the test AC with the moonlight when uses quad legs, but it takes 4-5 or so hits with 2 leg design

Oh yeah, that is quite a known thing with blades, tanklegs have the same stabbing motion, the stabbing motion is so strong because all of the hitboxes of the blade are centralized in one area instead of across a swipe

Tips for Formula Front? Hmm.. . OH I know four big ones. 1) The UNAC sees what's in front of it, what's attacked it, if it is about to leave the area and its radar, and NOTHING ELSE. Always have a radar. If you head doesn't have one, then equip the back radar. The last thing you want is your UNAC clueless on where its target is. It is also why ECM is so powerful in Formula Front. 2) Balance sucks. You do not have to fill in all areas of the AI's behavior for it to act good. Sometimes the lack of brains in a certain area will be worth adding brains in other areas. For example, the more you put points in it's heat management, it will be increasingly more willing to do ANYTHING to stay cool or to cool down. This means your UNAC will move less if it means cooling down. This is can be a very bad thing, especially for rush down builds or those meant to power through the heat with radiators like the Linden. The build I had for the previous tournament had next to no points in heat management. The spare points was used to max out attack strategy because that makes the UNAC highly receptive and very quick to blade things. 3) Speaking of cooling. Your UNAC is not totally reliable with evading attacks. It is why heavy weight builds are powerful in this game. Even if you lack the defense to take a hit, you might still win as long as your UNAC can still has energy to dash. Cooling and forced cooling are one of the most important stats in the game. A UNAC with poor cooling or energy is often creamed. 4) The UNAC love to move toward its target. Because of this, this conflicts with every chips that tells it to move away from the target. Making an UNAC that backpedals or distance itself from the enemy is a real head scratcher. Test heavily if you intend to make your UNAC backpedal on its own. Someone on youtube, I think he's a regular here, has made a bit of a guide on setting up AIs. Those videos might still be up. :O

The 5rla is so disappointing. It's 50% heavier than the other lrifle but has the same dps and 30% less ammo? And worse is that there is a right and left hand 5rla, but the good lrifle is only right hand.

@Lawrence Guzman you can download ppsspp not only on mobile but on pc. it will run smooth on any pc, and also then you can download the ISO aka rom of FF. or you can get the ps2 version. PCSX2 is the ps2 emulator.

@@brandonadams6108 The PSP emulator is easier to set though. Mostly because the PCSX2 does not come with the necessary files to run anything, so that's one extra thing you gotta deal with. Or at least, it was that way last I checked.
