2:14 Just a head's up, but the American soldiers in the foxholes aren't getting crushed, they simply scream when the tank passes above them because they were trained to do so, as it would relieve the stress the men went trough.

3:53 I get what they were doing. Firing right when the tank shot would drown out the sound of fire from their rifles. They had a scene like that from Enemy at the Gates, but with an artillery firing sound drowning out the sound of one Mosin Nagant rifle. It's a good movie if you want to check it out.

Those in the foxholes rolled over by tanks didn’t actually die at that time. They were taught to let out their fears by screaming while tanks were overhead so they couldn’t be heard
