You can do it! This really helps our family to GET. STUFF. DONE. My husband is a student in medical school doing 60+ hours per week, working part time, I'm a stay at home mom, pregnant with 2 toddlers and working 40+ hours a week between our KZbin channel and a business I own 😅 It is BUSY but it is TOTALLY POSSIBLE! You GOT THIS! 🤩

Thanks for sharing Kaleigh!!!

😂 What's so funny is I actually deleted A TON of my sarcastic remarks because I'm not usually a sarcastic person so I feel a little self conscious about it and deleted most of it 😂 I'm glad you liked the bits I left though! Maybe I'll leave more next time! And it's so true! Being structured is super hard with so many little ones but I think the key when having little ones is ALSO being SUPER flexible! ❤️

Love this advice so much!!! Thank you so much for sharing! I do have a few questions... Does your husband get up at the same time as you? Do you have a different schedule on the weekend? How do you manage your Social Media time? Thanks in advance! :)
@CarnahanFam4 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda! So glad you enjoyed this video and questions are ALWAYS welcome! I'll do the best I can to touch on all of these points: 1) Yes, most mornings. He isn't as much of a morning person as I am so sometimes it takes a few tries to get him up but his goal is 5am with me 😉 2) On the weekends our schedule does change. Our Saturdays most of our non-negotiables stay the same. Kids’ wake up and go down times, meals and naps. I still get up early every day. Quinn sleeps in on Sundays. Bed time is a little more loose too. Friday & Saturday are an option for movie nights if we want them! But all of our activities in between are flexible to meet the needs of what we want to fit into those days. 3) Social Media… ahhh. It’s so tricky because everything related to our KZbin channel is on social media. I can totally get sucked in too when I hop onto my phone to respond to a KZbin comment and totally forget why I got on in the first place! My rule is pretty much “Be present” when I’m with the kids. So "Me Time" it’s easily acceptable to be on social media for me. I usually wake my brain up with my SM and it “gets my fix” for the day… I’m not wondering as much what everyone else is doing the day. I try to remind myself to put my time into the best things. So I’m okay being on my phone during me time when it’s networking for our channel or connecting with a friend, those are all good things. But I’m trying to do my best to CONSUME less Social media. Haha, anyway. Sorry if that was too much! We always appreciate you being here and supporting us! Sending you lots of hugs! 🥰

I wish my body adjusted. I don’t think it does if you get less sleep than your body needs. If you need six hours that’s great. I don’t know how many hours I need because less than 6 is everyday for me the last 10 years, and I am exhausted but I’m figuring out how to control life and get more. That’s why I’m here❤

I love the idea of this schedule so much! I have struggled with sleep deprivation since my 16 month old was born. We are up and down all night so I get every ounce of sleep until she is officially awake. We have pretty set times on breakfast, nap, lunch, bath, dinner and bedtime but I want it to be so much more structured!! Thank you for the encouragement and inspiration. My husband says I'm too concerned with scheduling just wait until he sees what I have in mind after this! 🤣

What’s great about the block schedule system is no matter what your schedule is, you can make it work for your own individual needs, the principles still apply! That being said, if you have any thoughts on how I can incorporate more work time as a full time stay at home mom raising two toddlers to run my two businesses, I’m all ears! 👂
